Built in the UK all MIPV CIGS panels are manufactured to order, however, as a leading distributor, Mr Batteries Ltd carry a large stock in various sizes at our Somerset location. 

MIPV CIGS panels are available in three width sizes, Single lane (358mm) Double Lane (674mm) and Triple Lane (990mm). They vary in Watts which then vary in length.

Watt sizes available are from 40W through to 355W and in lengths differ depending on Single Double and Triple lane.  

Single lane variations 40w - 245w and are 358mm wide and from 1030mm to 5067mm in length.

Double lane variations 40w -355w and are 674mm wide and from 592mm to - 3837mm in length.

Triple lane variations 50w -355w and are 990mm wide and from 504mm to - 2609mm in length.

Mr Batteries keep in stock popular variations from 80W through to 295w anything outside of these have a 4-5 week lead time through special order.

Glass is the common denominator, most ridged panels are fixed to a frame, normally made of lightweight aluminium and are normally Monocrystalline which are made from glass. These cells are efficient but have limitations in low light, also the panels can only charge for limited hours of the day, where the sun is directly on top of the panel. 

Semi flexible, these panels are also made using glass, Monocrystalline technology, and usually made in China or the far east. These panels are competitively priced however have their limitations and very high failure rates. One of the challenges with Semi- Flexible panels is that they are normally fitted directly to roofs of vehicles or in marine applications. These roofs or marine applications get hot and cold and flex the panels, but because they are made of glass and because the panel is fixed, this movement causes the glass to break and crack, leaving "hotspots" in areas of the panels which become dead areas, making the panel less efficient, and  fail in a very short period of time.
